Pacific Marinelife Institute has launched the PMI Whale Project to work along side its Friends of the Dolphin, ReefHabitat and Sportfish Project programs. Allowing the Institute to collect, study and distribute information to other research groups and the community, on key marine habitats and species.
Marinelife Crew, OnH2O members and Marinelife Teams will be able to log sightings and identification images with the Whale Project, and then have it distributed to multiple research groups on their behalf, as well as support the Institute's own whale research project.
The Whale Project will accept whale sightings from throughout the Pacific and Oceania, and distribute the information to its affiliate research groups.
